It has the benefit of a heated playroom in the basement,
with satellite TV, table football, drawing equipment and games. The flexible bedroom layout, allows for either
3 family suites (two inter connecting bedrooms sharing a bathroom), a twin with shower room, or as 4 double en-suite
bedrooms. We can also accommodate couples and singles. (layout on request). The chalet can accommodate up to 15
people comfortably. The spacious communal rooms are ample for a large group, with a 8.5m x 4.5m dining area seating
16 comfortably , allowing your whole party to enjoy meal times together. Apres ski is enjoyed in our comfortable
relaxing lounge which leads to a further television log fire lounge.
All double rooms can accommodate a cot, and children are very welcome at Chalet Christiane. There is a large garden
with a swing to burn off any energy left after skiing
Catering is a hearty breakfast, afternoon tea and a four course dinner with wine or soft drinks. Your hosts will
take one evening off per week, but will be able to recommend a local restaurant for dinner on that night, so that
you can sample local fare.
Children are welcome at Chalet Christiane and early suppers are at 6.30 pm - these are two courses and the owners
are happy to discuss likes and dislikes and to try to accommodate them!
If you prefer your children to eat dinner, with you at around 8.00 pm, there is a supplement of 60 euros per week,
per child. The menu will be the same as the adults, minus the wine! If children prefer to eat with their parents,
we ask that they are well-behaved out of respect to other guests.

Chalet Christianes owners are very flexible and can
offer flexible changeover days as one of their strengths. Other than New Year, Feb Half term and possibly Easter
school holidays when changeover is fixed to a weekend, with a minimum stay of a week, they are as flexible as possible
with start and end days. The owners can also offer B & B or self-catered dependent on existing bookings. Both
chalets offer a warm welcome to families, with family suites and rooms, as well as playrooms with lots of activities
to enjoy. Childrens early supper can be arranged. Like most catered chalets, Chalet Joanne does have one night
off, but are happy to advise local restaurants you can try.
Most importantly, we recognise that family skiing
holidays can be expensive and are happy to advise that both chalets offer excellent value and very
good child prices. Please ask us for details of child discounts.
St Jean DAulps is part of the world-renowned Portes du Soleil (Doors to the Sun) which, with 650km of skiing,
is one of the largest ski areas in the world, if not the largest. St Jean is a gem between Les Gets and Morzine
but has its own ski area at Grande Terche. This makes it an excellent alternative to the larger, busier resorts
nearby, and offers 35km of skiing on green, blue and red pistes.
