COMMENTS FROM PREVIOUS GUESTS...
'Having visited both Tatatz and Cristalle, the chalets are very
similar but Cristalle is slightly smaller and offers a mixture of modern & traditional furniture with a wood
burner which is really effective (and most welcome) when there is snow outside! The house has a real family atmosphere
although I am sure it would be equally suited to groups of friends, and I found it to be lovely and cozy (and the
flat screen tv and DVD collection were a real bonus!). Susan tempted us with home made 'boeuf bourguignon', delicious
pea, apple & mint soup, and hearty fish pie, we rwealised we could have a gastronomic holiday as well as a
skiing one! Susan and Kevin are great hosts and their passion for the food and level of service is amazing - goodness
knows how they manage to get everything done during the season, but they somehow manage! They can help will will
all sorts of extra bit and bobs such as booking ski lessons, babysiiting and stuff like that which is a great help
if you're not terribly confident in French. They can even show you areas of the domaine that you wouldn't otherwise
know are there, so it's really a catered chalet with hotel/concierge services! The jacuzzi is a great place to
relax and soothe aching muscles after a day on the slopes. Bliss...'
'We had an excellent week in Cristalle with comfortable warm
rooms, and an excellent shower - not always the case! The hot tub was gorgeous - according to my wife. Wonderful
food (thanks Ann!)and great service. The skiing at Morillon was epic and we wouldn't hesitate to go again. Thanks
for finding this great chalet and for organising everything'
