The Chalet Hotel La Grange d'Arly is a delightful cozy
hotel ideally located just a few steps from the center of Megève and a short walk the ski lifts - perfect
for those looking for an excellent balance between varied skiing and a traditional base for other snow activities.
Christine and Jean Marie go out of their way to extend a traditional and warm Savoyarde welcome to all their guests.
The chalet hotel is furnished throughout in natural woods and pretty materials, and the 22 rooms are all individually
decorated and renovated each year by the owners to make sure that guests get the most from their stay. In the evening
tired skiers can collapse into a comfortable armchair beside the roaring log fire in the bar. La Grange d'Arly
is a completely non-smoking hotel, and for the guests' convenience, there is a computer with Internet access and
a printer available at the reception desk, while the entire building features free wireless Internet access. As
well as other facilities, the hotel also offer guests a restaurant, lift, garden, free parking and a garage.
There are a range of rooms at La Grange d'Arly to suit both couples and families alike. Each room offers a flat
screen television with satellite channels, separate toilet, a safe and courtesy mirror. All except one have balconies
with lovely mountain views.
DOUBLE / TWIN ROOMS
There are 15 cosy double and twin rooms each
equipped with 1 queen size bed or 2 single beds. Some of them can be connected with double or triple rooms.
MEZZANINE ROOMS
We are pleased to offer 4 triple rooms for families
which are each equipped with a queen size bed or 2 single beds, with a single bed on the mezzanine which is reached
by the wooden staircase. Some triple rooms can be connected with twin rooms for larger families
DUPLEX LOUNGE ROOM
There are 2 duplex lounge rooms on the south
east side of the hotel. They are equipped with a queen size bed on the mezzanine and 2 single beds in the lounge.
LOUNGE ROOM TOP FLOOR
The jewel in the crown, the lounge room top floor
is looks out over the south east side of the hotel with a lovely view over the mountains. The lounge room top floor
is spacious and equipped with 2 single beds or 1 queen size bed, and 2 single beds in the lounge. The bathroom
has 2 washbasins, bath and a shower.
At the restaurant, guests can enjoy delightful French, Savoyard and Italian cooking in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
In winter, you can sit and relax in front a large open fire to enjoy afternoon tea or a drink in the spacious lounge
bar, whilst the owners prepare a range of delicious dishes to tempt your taste buds, using fresh and where possible,
locally sourced produce.
Chic and sophisticated, Megève is one of the best ski resorts in the world. The centre of Megève
is pedestrianised area around a 13th century church, with narrow streets to explore a wide variety of boutiques,
delicatessens, bars and restaurants. Grange d'Arly hotel is located in the village centre, close to the Sport centre,
ski buses, crèche, and 350 meters from the main cable car.
It's easy to see why the ski resort of Megève is so popular, as there is no shortage of things to see and
do. The tourist information center is only a short walk from the hotel and for those who like crave the great outdoors,
there are a wide activities such as hiking, ice skating, and even golf. Other popular attractions include the Cote
2000 Adventure theme park, cross country skiing, curling at the Sports Center, dog sledding at the Mont du Villard
Nord, and paint ball adventures.
Due to its lower altitude, this area is known for its good skiing when other resorts are lacking or just in the
clouds for the day. With endless skiing possibilities for all levels and a wealth of apres ski activities, Megève
makes for a great holiday destination. The Megève Ski Pass includes the ski areas of Rochebrune, Mont d'Arbois,
Jaillet, la Giettaz, Combloux, Saint Gervais and Saint Nicolas de Véroce which offer 84 ski lifts and 162
pistes ( 23 black, 60 red, 50 blue, 29 green). A great family resort.
