One of our collection of properties in the superb ski
resort of La Tania, Chalet Rousset is a detached chalet just a few minutes away from the resort centre. All the
chalets are owned by the same proprietor, and have been decorated and furnished in similar shades of cream and
warm reds. Rousset sleeps 13 people in 6 bedrooms, each of which has a private balcony from French doors. In normal
snow conditions, intermediate level skiers, can ski directly onto the piste from the chalet door, and then down
to the gondola. However, its an easy 75m stroll from the chalet to the centre, lifts, shops and all the amenities
of the village.
CHALET LAYOUT
- 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, sleeps 2-13 people
- Large ski/boot room with heated boot warmers, washing machine and
tumble dryer. There is also a storage/drying room ideal for drying ski gear. WC
- Large living room, with comfy sofas, underfloor heating, and central
fireplace. Adjoining the main lounge is a cosy extra living space with a TV/DVD
- Spacious dining room, sharing the fireplace with the main lounge,
and with two sets of French doors out to the decked balcony around the chalet
- Kitchen, open plan to the dining room, with oven, hob, dishwasher,
microwave
- Outside - two covered car parking spaces, plus spac e for more
cars to park if needed
- 2 x spacious twin rooms, with vanity basin and private balconies
- 2 x twin rooms with vanity basin and private balconies
- Spacious twin with private balcony
- Spacious triple with private balcony
There are three bath or shower rooms in the chalet, with an excellent
supply of hot water. Like for all our chalets in La Tania, prices include bed linen, towels, beds made up on arrival
and end of stay cleaning. There are local English-speaking contacts in case of any problems.
La Tania is part of the world-renowned 3 Valleys Les Trois Vallees
which, with 600km of pistes is huge! The 3 Valleys is served by over 200 lifts. However, you dont have to obtain
the full 3 Valleys area lift pass, to enjoy varied and challenging skiing. The La Tania local pass covers Courchevel
too, which consists of villages at altitudes 1300, 1550, 1650 and 1850. The 3 Valleys enjoys an enviable record
of snow reliability. There is an extensive system of snow cannons which can ensure good cover if needed.
